Why is hydrocarbon analysis so crucial?  It is a critical step in certifying synthetic aviation fuels as it reveals if the fuel possesses all the right quantities of hydrocarbons to perform as expected. However, fuels are quite complex, containing thousands of different individual components, making them exceptionally challenging to analyze.
